Oren Peli

Oren Peli is an Israeli-American filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer best known for creating and directing the groundbreaking horror film Paranormal Activity. Produced on a microbudget, the film became a worldwide phenomenon and helped redefine modern found footage horror. Peli has since produced and developed numerous genre projects, including Insidious, Area 51, Chernobyl Diaries, The Bay and entries in the Paranormal Activity franchise.
